ATHENS BUSINESS CONFUCIUS INSTITUTE: General section of the conditions of participation – YCT Exams

1. Exam rules and regulations for the examinations at the Athens Business Confucius Institute (www.confucius.aueb.gr à Exams)

1.1 All candidates are required to show a VALID identity document on all exam days.

1.2 If you have paid for an exam and been issued an Admission Ticket but absent from the exam, you will be recorded as ‘absence’ in our exam database and cannot be refunded the exam fee.

1.3 ABCI does not disclose personal data to individuals, organizations or other third parties.

2. Online registration

2.1 Registration is carried out individually and exclusively online by each participant. ABCI assumes no liability or responsibility for any errors or omissions in the information contained in this registration. The responsibility that the information provided is accurate lies with the declarant.

• Go to http://www.chinesetest.cn
• Create an account or, if you already have one, log in on this page with your username and pass.
• Select the exam you would like to register for and complete the steps.
• Select test level, continent, country/region, test format (only the paper-based format is available at ABCI), test centre and date, complete your personal information, upload a photo (optional) and confirm registration information.

2.2 All test fee payments must be made in full. Pay by direct deposit to the ABCI account at any National Bank of Greece branch. You can pay the test fee via ATM or via web/mobile banking through you own bank. Please note that you will be responsible for any bank charges.

Test fees for YCT (Written Test):

YCT 1 – 60 euros / YCT 2 – 70 euros / YCT 3 – 80 euros / YCT 4 – 90 euros

2.3 Online registration: the online registration takes place before or after the test fee payment, respecting the terms and deadlines that are indicated above. The test fees and the name of the candidate are proved by bank statements. If you miss the last registration deadline, unfortunately, you will not be eligible to sit for the selected HSK exam.

2.4 NO late exam registrations are accepted. Registration closes at midnight (Beijing Time) on the deadline date.

3. Exam Admission Ticket

3.1 To print your YCT exam admission ticket, log in to your www.chinesetest.cn  account (Personal Information Centre->Test Taker Information->Print). Students are required to bring their admission ticket to the test centre.

5. Test scores and Test Score Reports

5.1 Score enquiry: One month after taking the test, test takers can log in to their www.chinesetest.cn account in order to view test scores.

5.2 Score report: The printed official test score reports will be delivered to Athens Business Confucius Institute within 2 months after the test date. Test takers can get it there by presenting their test identity certificate.

5.3 The candidate’s name appears on the certificate exactly as the entry. If you don’t get it right, making changes after the certificate has been issued are, NOT available.
