CTCSOL test is available in Greece now!

Athens Business Confucius Institute is currently the first and only official test centre in Greece for the CTCSOL Teacher’s Certificate.

What is CTCSOL?

The CTCSOL (Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages) test is an international standardized test sponsored by the Chinese-Foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Education to assess candidates as Chinese language teachers internationally in the following five domains:

• Basics in Chinese Language Teaching
• Chinese Language Teaching Methodology
• Instructional Design and Classroom Management
• Chinese Culture and Cross-cultural Communication
• Professional Ethics and Disciplinary Development

Important Notices/Instructions

• Registration for the HSK Exams (All Levels) taking place on Sunday, June 12, 2022 opens at 7:00 a.m. on April 16, 2022; continuous registration is available through May 16, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. (Beijing Time).
• Make sure to register during the official registration period and complete all the required steps of the application process within the stipulated deadline, because only then will you be guaranteed a place in the exam(s).
• Τhe deadline for submitting the electronic application for participation in the HSK Exams (Monday 16-05-2022, at 11:59 pm, Beijing time) applies to all actions required by the candidate. That is, before submitting the application, the candidate must have completed the payment process of the fee for the corresponding level of examination and submitted his electronic registration.

In full compliance with the measures in effect to protect public health, all written and oral exams (HSK, YCT, HSKK) requiring physical presence of the students are currently suspended. Therefore, the Business Confucius Institute announces that, until further notice, it cancels all exams scheduled to take place the current academic year 2020-2021. Since all exams are being postponed indefinitely until further notice, future candidates are asked to visit BCI’s official webpage and Social Media accounts to get the latest updates on the new exam dates, which are to be announced in due course.

Therefore, the Business Confucius Institute announces that, until further notice, it cancels all exams scheduled to take place on Sunday, December 6^th 2020. Since all exams are being postponed indefinitely until further notice, the candidates who have registered for the written HSK exams that were scheduled to take place on Sunday, December 6^th 2020, will receive e-mail notification about the exam fee reimbursement process to the email address entered during the registration process through the online registration system www.chinesetest.cn.

HSK WRITTEN EXAMINATIONS UPDATED SCHEDULE

• Registration for the HSK Exams (HSK 1,2,3,4,5,6) taking place on December 6^th, 2020 opens at 7:00 a.m. on October 9^th; continuous registration is available through November 9^th, 11:59 p.m.
• Make sure to register during the official registration period, because only then will you be guaranteed a place in the exam(s).
• Registration is only available through www.chinesetest.cn.

The official Examination Score Reports are issued in China and sent to Athens Business Confucius Institute 50 days after the test date. When we receive the certificates, a relevant announcement will be uploaded on our website (Exam Announcements). Your Examination Score Reports will be kept at the Business Confucius Institute in Athens for up to 2 years after the test date.

We inform our website and social media accounts when the certificates are ready to be picked up.
